Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. As a parent of three children myself, I understand how important it is to find a school where children feel happy, safe, valued and inspired to achieve their very best. We are proud to provide that environment at Pennine Way.

We have high academic expectations for all of our children and believe that every child can succeed. Our role is to nurture their talents, celebrate their achievements and support them through challenges so that they develop the confidence, skills and knowledge needed for future success. We want every child who leaves Pennine Way to do so with a love of learning, a strong sense of self-belief and memories they will cherish.

At the heart of our school are our CARE values of Cooperation, Aspiration, Respect and Equity. These values guide everything we do, helping us to build a school community where everyone feels valued, included and supported. We encourage our children to work together, aim high, show kindness and respect, and understand that fairness means giving everyone the opportunities and support they need to thrive.

We believe that education is strongest when it is built on partnership. Our staff, parents, carers, governors and wider community all have an important part to play in helping children flourish. By working together, communicating openly and always putting children at the centre of our decisions, we can help every child to achieve their very best… and more.

Pennine Way is a fully inclusive school and we are proud of the diversity within our community. Every child is unique and every child matters. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receive the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to succeed. We celebrate differences, recognise individual strengths and work hard to ensure that every child feels a genuine sense of belonging.

We are also incredibly fortunate to be based within the wonderful Harraby Community Campus. Our children benefit from access to fantastic facilities, including the British Cycling race-standard cycle track, 3G pitches and sports arena, theatre facilities and much more. These experiences enrich our curriculum and help create exciting opportunities that many children will remember for years to come.

As children move through our school, we want them to develop not only academically, but personally too. We encourage them to be curious, resilient and ambitious. We want them to challenge themselves, discover new interests and develop the confidence to embrace opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
